Mrs. Thelma Lockwood

Subjects Taught: Reading, Math, Religion 3 and 4, Science, Social Studies, Spelling, Phonics, Health and Handwriting. Colleges Attended, Degrees Received, Certifications, etc.: Monroe Community College in Rochester, New York - Associate of Science Degree. Oswego State in Oswego, New York - Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education. Teaching Experience: Title I Reading - 1 year New York State- Grade 4 for 3 years. Collins Catholic School - Grade 3 for 20 years. Family Information: Married 31 years, husband - Harold Lockwood who has worked at Guardian Glass in Corsicana 23 years. Two sons - Jason, age 28 and Todd, age 27. Hobbies, Other Information: Enjoys traveling - traveled to Cancun, Yellowstone National Park, Grand Canyon, Grand Tetons, Zion, Bryce Canyon, Yosemite National Park, Sequoia National Park, Rocky Mountain National Park to name a few places.

Mrs. Kristi Mims

Mrs. Kristi Mims will be our new 4th grade teacher. She received her BAAS in 2007 from Texas A & M -Commerce and completed her certification in 2010. She has been married to husband, David, for 12 years. They have two children who attend JLCCS. Braden is in 4th grade and Brynlee is in kindergarten. She enjoys watching sports and spending time with her family.

Mrs. Dana Taylor

Mrs. Dana Taylor teaches Art to Grades 1-8 amd Music to Grades 5-8. She directs an upper grade choir for alternate school masses, and produces a spring musical each year. New for this year is a large screen television/monitor for classroom instruction.

Mr. Gerardo Alvardo

Mr. Gerardo Alvarado teaches music to grades 5K-4 and directs a choir for alternate school masses. He also produces a Christmas Musical Program each year.
