Computer Classes at JLCCS Grades 4K-3 Mrs. Sally Tlustos Students in Grades 4K-2 come to the computer lab once each week for computer assisted instruction with Reading, Phonics, and Math software. Grade 3 comes to the computer lab for keyboarding (typing) instruction once each week. MARS Mrs. Sally Tlustos Students in Grades 3-8 who need extra instruction in Reading and Math come to the computer lab during the Spanish periods on Tuesday and Thursday to improve reading and math skills with an assortment of tutorial software. Dyslexia Mrs. Sally Tlustos Students who have been diagnosed with Dyslexia are taught using the Texas Scottish Rite program. Computer 4-8 Mrs. Jo Ann Stutts Students in grades 4-7 have two computer classes each week. Eighth grade has 3 computer classes each week. Students are instructed in keyboarding and in various applications such as word processing, database, and spreadsheet. They also complete multimedia projects and learn safe and effective methods of research on the internet. Tech teams in grades 4-8 assist Mrs. Stutts and Mrs. Tlustos in simple computer repair and setup. An editorial staff in grades 6-8 are being chosen to edit the student web site, collinscatholicschool.com.

Mrs. Jo Ann Stutts

Mrs. Jo Ann Stutts is the Librarian and Technology Director at our school. She will be teaching Library Skills classes to grades 5K-8, and Computer Literacy Classes to grades 4-8. Mrs. Stutts has a B.S. from North Texas State University in Elementary Education and English, and has completed 33 hours toward a Masters in Library Science at Texas Woman's University. She also is certified in computer education. Family members include husband, Travis, and sons Mike and Kevin who attended JLCCS.

Mrs. Sally Tlustos

Mrs. Sally Tlustos is the Safety Officer for JLCCS. She is also teacher for computer classes, 4K-3, dyslexia classes, and MARS (Math and Reading Skills) classes. Mrs. Tlustos and her husband Wayne have two daughters, Lacey and Lindsey, who graduated from JLCCS. She has been a staff member since 1995, and also served as playground supervisor.

Mrs. Maria Moreno, Library & Technology Aide

Mrs. Moreno will begin her third year as library and technology aide at CCS.

Ryan Folmar, Technology Assistant

Ryan Folmar is our Technology Assistant. Ryan is new to our Technology Staff this year, but he is a former student technician at our school. He is currently attending Navarro College.
