Ready for a new year!

Tech Team 8
	Tech teams in grades 5-8 assist Mrs. Stutts with technology setup and quick fixes. Eighth graders on the team are: Marque, Cody, Kenneth, and Ben. They have been busy already.

8th Grade Smiles
	8th Grade students served parents, students, and teachers pizza and iced tea at the first PTC meeting of the year.

	Mrs. Barbara Moe, president of the James L. Collins Advisory Council addressed parents at the first PTC meeting of the year.

	Miss Starek introduced the 2010-2011 CCS Cheerleaders. Mrs. Jean Schlenk will be the sponsor for the group.

	Third and fifth graders worked together in the computer lab in May 2010 to turn state reports done in the classroom into iMovies, complete with photos and sound track. Mrs. Stutts also worked with the project.
